Send a bottle to their table

My favorite gesture for when you can’t be there in person but want to contribute to the fun - if you know a group is going out to dinner, find out who made the reservation, and call ahead to purchase a bottle of something fun to be sent to the table.

Perfect for a birthday, Father’s Day, Mother’s Day (ahem). Feels like a really special and unexpected surprise, even though it’s so obvious! If the group doesn’t drink, a fabulous dessert works as well!
