Inspector Lewis is a British procedural about a D.I. and Sergeant solving bookish crimes in Oxford.

Really fun (most of the plots are completely outlandish and oriented around rare book collections, astronomy towers, visiting symposiums…)with lots of great quotes and shots of professorial types running off to the library/class/rowing practice while secretly concealing a vintage handgun.
